It's a toughie when it comes to developing an ethos that tries to incorporate both my commercial work and my personal/creative work, which I usually shoot on film. I'm not sure it can be done, but I'm giving it a try because I want potential clients to know that photography is also a labour of love for me and that my style can stretch beyond the glossier commercial type.

Weddings

Here's a photo from a good friend's wedding that prompted me to look into going professional with my own photography business.

The day itself was terrifying. I thought I couldn't do this kind of work, but between the jigs and the reels, I actually found it thrilling as well as frightening. Afterwards, when Paul and Margaret expressed their delight with the work, I thought to myself that this just might work....

So here is a blog dedicated to my brand new photography business.
